Sisters M. Michelina Brondial, M. Benigna Cadawas, Gerarda Cruz and Nives Montecillo celebrated their Golden Jubilee of religious profession on 3 Dec. 2011 in the Queen of Apostles Sanctuary in Pasay City. Most Rev. Sofronio Bancud, Bishop of the Diocese of Cabanatuan, presided over the Eucharistic Liturgy and addressed warm words of esteem to the jubilarians, saying that the celebration was a manifestation of their love and fidelity to God, who had sustained them on their journey, and that it was an anniversary on which to praise and thank him for the many graces and blessings he had bestowed on them during their many years of selfless dedication to the Pauline mission.
Numerous FSPs, members of the SSP, diocesan priests, friends and relatives participated in the Eucharistic Celebration. The Liturgy opened with a ceremony in which a lighted candle, carried in the entrance procession, was then passed on to four young women in formation, symbolizing how the Pauline ideal should be transmitted and taken to every corner of the world.
