From 1-8 September the Junior Professed FSPs of Europe were gathered at the Generalate in Rome for their annual formation meeting. Eight sisters-2 from Italy, 2 from Romania, 2 from the Czech Republic, 1 from Portugal and 1 from Poland- participated in the encounter, which revolved around the theme: The Pauline Community: All Together Toward Apostolic Holiness.
Our sisters’ well-filled days consisted of intensive listening to input by guest speakers, followed by group work and times for prayer, reflection and a sharing of ideas. The theme of the Pauline community was approached from the biblical, charismatic, apostolic and communications perspectives-a journey of deeper study aimed at helping the Juniors to expand their horizons so as to discover fresh ways to live Pauline community life.
One evening was set aside for an exuberant communal recreation with the FSP Juniors currently studying Italian here in Rome in preparation for their upcoming course of perfection (January 2012).
