On Wednesday, May 10, Paulines of the American continent gathered in Bogota, Colombia, to participate in the Ordinary General Assembly of the Service to the Latin American Apostolate (SAL), an organization charged with proposing and articulating apostolic initiatives of a continental character. Present at the Assembly were the seven superiors of the territories of the American continent, two general councilors, the general treasurer, the sisters in charge of SAL and the sisters who develop its apostolic projects. The purpose of the Assembly is to renew SAL’s leadership team and coordinators, evaluate the progress made of its initiatives and discern new paths for the Gospel.
The Ordinary Assembly of the Service to the Latin American Apostolate culminated on Friday, May 12, with the election of its new officers and the presence of Sister Anna Caiazza, Superior General.
