Being able to relay accurate information quickly is very important, especially in times of emergency. In view of this, a new information-sharing platform has been launched on the World Wide Web.
Known as Caritas Baobab, it is an internal communication platform for the 160+ Caritas organizations around the world. The platform, which was set up to address the needs of the poor, will enable staff members and volunteers to share their knowledge and work with one another, respond more quickly to natural catastrophes and other emergencies, coordinate their initiatives and share their resources.
