The Daughters of St. Paul of Barcelona, with the collaboration of the “Five Loaves and Two Fishes” group from Miraculous Medal parish, celebrated a Biblical Week in our book center from 19-27 November.
In spite of pouring rain, 65 people participated in the event. Sr. M. Claustre Solé, a professor of Biblical Theology, spoke on the theme “God Speaks to Human Beings, examining the books of the Bible in which God interacts directly with individuals, up to the dialogue par excellence between the angel Gabriel and Mary, the Mother of the Savior. Her talk was followed by questions and reflections on the part of the audience.
In sharing this news with us, our sisters underscore how important it is to hold cultural and educational encounters of this type in our book centers because they are moments of formation for the public, a means of bringing people in contact with the Pauline mission, and also an opportunities for strengthening our bonds with friends and collaborators.
