From 6-10 February 2024, the Dicastery for the Clergy sponsored an International Conference for the Ongoing Formation of Priests, entitled “Fan into a flame the gift of God that is in you” (2 Tim. 1:6): The beauty of being disciples today: a unique, integral, communal and missionary formation.” The encounter was held in the Paul VI Audience Hall, Rome.
About 700 priests from Italy and many other parts of the world participated in the event, during which they discussed and explored the practices, challenges, problems and future prospects of priestly formation.
Staff from the FSP International Book Center, Rome, were present with a large and beautiful display of publications in different languages that offered valuable resources and tools for the ongoing formation of priests.
