The year of formation on the Pauline charism opened with a welcome address delivered by Sr. Marta Finotelli, sgbp who, in the name of all the General Governments of our Institutes, said: ?This new academic year is brimming over with hope because it also marks the journey of the whole Pauline Family toward our centenary of foundation.?
At 100 years distance from that ?greater light? (1910-2010), 19 members of the Pauline Family are participating in this 14th annual formation course. This year?s students come from Argentina, Brazil, Korea, Philippines, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Mozambique, Peru, Chile, Poland and Spain.
During the Eucharistic Liturgy that officially opened the course, each participant received an empty backpack, symbolizing each one?s mind, heart and will, emptied in the readiness to fill it with all the ?treasures? he/she will discover along the way that will allow him/her to reach the goal of revitalizing the gift of the Pauline vocation.
