From 25-26 June, our Madrid community hosted the first meeting of the Delegations of Spain and Portugal.
The dream to initiate a journey of closer dialogue and collaboration between the two circumscriptions was triggered by the process of redesigning our FSP presences throughout the world. With enthusiasm and good will, our sisters reflected on various aspects of the Pauline life on the Iberian peninsula: communities and sisters, the apostolate and our lay collaborators, vocations, diffusion, book centers, organization and administration
Many resources and potentials came to light in their discussions and on the basis of these the sisters pinpointed specific areas in which they felt they could work together successfully, namely: the publishing apostolate, a common line of action regarding our book centers, ongoing formation and spirituality. All these bricks will help to lay a solid foundation for a shared journey, carried out with creativity and vitality in the light of the charism.
United, there is a better chance that fruit will emerge.
