The FSP book center of Turin recently participated in the 8th edition of Portici di Carta (“Paper Porches”), an annual event in which 170 booths containing a total of tens of thousands of books snake their way along designated streets of the city, creating the longest “outdoor bookstore” in the world.
Optimum planning gives the exhibitors direct contact with the passers-by, reaffirming the timeliness of the Pauline charism. In concomitance with the book display, many other events were held, such as encounters, book readings, sessions with authors, children’s workshops, and dramatic and musical performances.
