Now in its 75th year, the Frankfurt International Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse) took place from 18-22 October 2023. The Fair, which is the largest international event for the exchange of book rights, involves thousands of exhibitors from all over the world, along with a huge amount of publishing professionals.
This year, representatives of more than 100 countries were present, making the Fair an ideal showcase for the thousands of participating publishers, who displayed the best of their publications in their stands. The fact that the event is a desired destination for many book lovers is evident in the numbers: in fact, more than 300,000 people attend the Buchmesse each year– a truly impressive demonstration of the power of words and ideas to bring together everyone who might be involved in any way in the world of literature, as well as in print and digital content.
The worldwide extent of the FSP trademark could be seen at the Fair in a wide range of Pauline productions from different parts of the world. The FSP booth displayed publications characterized by a variety of genres, themes and recipients.
In 2024, Italy will be the guest of honor at the Frankfurt Buchmesse–a long-awaited moment in the publishing world!
