On July 20, 2024, the provincial governments of the Pauline family in India met at the Provincial House of the Society of St. Paul in Bandra, Mumbai. Joby Mathew, SSP, Provincial of the Society of St. Paul organized the meeting.
Seventeen members enthusiastically participated in this initiative, which had not been held for many years. It signaled a significant step towards greater unity and collaboration within the Pauline Family in India.
Various issues of significant importance were discussed during the gathering:
• Common motivations for mission
• Growth in spirituality and study of the charism
• Formation and apostolate
The event was also an opportunity to confront and clarify some of the difficulties and misunderstandings faced by members of the respective provinces, thus effectively strengthening family and charismatic ties.
The encounter concluded with a resolute commitment to meeting at least once a year and a solid determination to implement the new collaboration program, thereby ensuring the progress and success of their collective efforts.
