Fides News Agency now has a new smartphone application available in eight languages. Called “Missio,” the app contains all the news published on the news.va website, plus pictures, videoclips, the Pope’s homilies, and information on the Church’s activities throughout the world.
On its first day of life, the app was downloaded by 1,140 people in 27 different countries. As Fr. Andrew Small, the “inventor” of the app said, “Our purpose is to help people look at the world through the eyes of faith.” The new app can be downloaded gratis via iTunes AppStore and Google Play in English, Spanish, Italian, German, French, Portuguese, Chinese and Arabic.
