On 19 July, Queen of Apostles Hospital, Albano, inaugurated its newly renovated surgical wing. The blessing opened with the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon cordoning off the zone by Sr. Antonieta Bruscato, FSP Superior General.
After this, the hospital chaplain proceeded to bless the wing and all those present for the occasion: hospital personnel, patients, FSPs and friends-all of whom expressed their satisfaction in the renewed ambient. The renovation work was undertaken to bring the surgery sector up to par with regard to Italy’s new health laws and ensure that the hospital’s patients are served as fully and as competently as possible.
Coming at a time in which the national health care sector is in crisis, the hospital’s latest renovation project has served to boost the hope of personnel and patients alike by focusing attention yet again on the mission of Queen of Apostles Hospital to make the sick and suffering its top priority-a goal in which it has always excelled.
