Every year the Daughters of St. Paul of Bandra hold a musical performance in various parishes and schools of the Archdiocese of Mumbai in preparation for Christmas.
Organized and performed by the Postulants, the program this year consisted of a wide variety of songs, including the angel’s announcement to Mary, the birth of Jesus, the Drummer Boy, the Dance of the Angels, Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus, etc. Each song was accompanied by a short, clear and meaningful introduction. The parishioners and students, who came from various religious backgrounds, welcomed the pageant with great enthusiasm. Upon request, the sisters performed the same show in two of the city’s five-star hotels.
For the Daughters of St. Paul, this annual event is always a favorable moment to proclaim the message of Jesus to the young and the old, the rich and the poor, believers and non-believers, because Jesus came into the world for everyone.
