Through its World Women’s Observatory, the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organizations (UMOFC) launched a new initiative on 27 February 2024. Known as The School of Synodality: Women’s Mission in the Synodal Church, the project began with a series of Webinars held from 27-29 February in Spanish, English and French, with the primary objective of analyzing the progress of the synodal process and the key contents of Chapter 9 of the Synthesis Report presented in the first phase of the Synodal Assembly.
Each Webinar was animated by two speakers: a member of the laity and a woman religious, both of whom had participated in the 16th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops in October 2023.
