Sr. Noelia Toro from the province of Southern America and Sr. María Paz Hoyos representing the Peru-Bolivia delegation, organized an online retreat on the theme: Speak Lord, your daughter is listening.
In order to encourage young women to participate in the event, the encounters were scheduled from 7:00-9:00 p.m., with the content centered on two biblical characters: Abraham, who looked at the sky and counted the stars (Gn. 15:5), and the prodigal son (Lk 15:11-32). The retreat ended with a Eucharistic prayer that left space for a personal meeting with Jesus.
Thirty-seven young women from Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, Peru and Bolivia participated in the retreat, which was advertised through social networks. All were invited to an intimate encounter with the love of God the Father and were offered the chance to be accompanied on their personal journey of vocation discernment.
The organizers expressed their joy for the success of the initiative, which they say was a unique, enriching and stimulating experience, and a wonderful opportunity for collaboration between circumscriptions in the field of vocational youth ministry.
