On 26 September 2023, our Pauline International Book and Media Center, located on Via del Mascherino, Rome, hosted a book presentation during which Luigi Sandri, a journalist and the author of numerous publications on ecumenical and interreligious issues, presented his latest book, “1700 years after the Council of Nicaea: Speaking Today About the God of Jesus,” a new release by FSP Publications, Italy. Not coincidentally, the new title was released just a few days before the opening of the 16th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops (4-29 Oct. 2023), the culminating moment of a process that began in 2021. Theologian Cristina Simonelli, who wrote the book’s Preface, also spoke during the event, which was introduced by Romano Cappelletto from the Pauline Press Office.
The book presentation was highly appreciated and attracted a large attendance.
