On 30 October, the Pauline Family around the world celebrated the Feast of Jesus Master. In the small FSP community in Taichung, this day took on a climate of special joy. The festive atmosphere intensified with the arrival of many Daughters of St. Paul from Kaohsiung and Taipei, as well as their Cooperators. All looked forward eagerly to greeting the Bishop and two new Pauline Cooperators, Mr. Zhuo Ming Hong Francis and Mrs. Zong Fang Xue Joan of Arc, who after two years of formation were ready to make their Promise to live Jesus Master, Way Truth and Life, and give him to others in their particular contexts.
After Mass, Mr. Zhou thanked the Taichung Paulines for the formation he had received through the various study aids and instructions with which they had provided him, saying that they served as a “golden thread” to help him discover the vocation of lay people to use the new media to make the Lord known because so many of them do not yet know him yet.
